I'm from a small island in Asia called Taiwan. When I was just 5, my parents moved our family to Vancouver. I attended school here and went on to do my Bachelors at Smith College and my Masters at the University of Edinburgh. No matter where I moved to for family reasons or for educational opportunities, the magnetic pull of Vancouver was always there. On and off I've lived here for 20 years - it's home and it's where I met the love of my life, and together we raise our little Mudi in Mount Pleasant.

To me, being a real estate agent is about helping people realize their goals. I'm not interested in selling you a home just to make a commission. It really is about the people and ensuring I match them with the right home. No buyer/seller is alike, so let's get to know each other and figure out what your specific needs and criteria are; both our times are valuable, so let's not waste it missing the mark.

I've been in the business for almost a decade and work with a wonderful team. My teammates, Lester and Henry, have each been in the business for over 25 years. We are all hands on deck; when you call us, you won't reach an assistant or an office manager - it's just the three of us. We do all our own showings and open houses. No offense intended when I say this, but we also have a no-lockbox policy on our listings. We believe in being present for all showings so we can answer any questions buyers/agents may have, but also to provide invaluable feedback to our sellers. If you might require client services provided in a language other than English, we can assist in Cantonese, Mandarin and Taiwanese.

Every year, a portion of my sales proceeds go to organizations that matter a great deal to me personally.

Over the years, the organizations I support include:

- Smith College
- Canadian Cancer Society (BC & Yukon)
- BC Children's Hospital
- Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières)
- Out in Schools
- BC Cancer Foundation
- Breakfast Club of Canada
- Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life
